YUTC BENEFIT SHOWCASE

Almost a year ago, the Founding Board of Directors of Youth Uproar Theatre Company came together to found the excellence of a BIPOC/LGBTQIA+ community that is producing stories for them, by them.

We welcome you to commemorate our 1st year anniversary at our annual benefit showcase with this year's theme of the "Joy of Virtual Connection". In touch with our seasons theme of "joy" and "equity", and that we built a teen run not for profit theatre company in the middle of a pandemic and how do we hold space *virtually* to discuss the many inequities of the world why using it as fuel to produce our 2021 season of the many highlights of what it means to be BIPOC/LGBTQIA+ member of the world.

This years benefit showcase will be hosted by the renowned entertainer, Dr. Delores Thomson from 102.9 KBLX who is also an Adult Advisory Board member and joining the stage to co-host will be the YUTC's Founding Executive Director, Leon Jones. The gala will be virtually showcased via Youtube with performances from our YUTC company members, presentations around "YUTC 2022" (including the 2022 season announcement) and so much more, all live streamed from Daughters Diner in Oakland,CA!
